Student Film Poster 2024
AUBADE
Aubade is a student film written and directed by my sister Olivia Olson, following the story of a young piano player who is grieving the loss of her husband, a fellow musician. I created the main poster for the film, merchandise to be sold as a fundraiser, the title visuals, and painted visuals for filming.
PROBLEM
I was tasked with creating visuals which followed the film’s theme and tone, while showcasing its creators, and promoting it to raise money for the production
of the film.
SOLUTION
I painted the film’s main visuals referencing ballet, and the double-bass, the instrument of the lost spouse of the main character, and hand-painted and digitized the title-text to fit the visual identity I created for the film’s promotion.
